HP and Raylo the subscription platform for the world’s leading electronics brands, have announced the launch of a device subscription service that gives small businesses flexible access to select HP devices.
The launch comes as demand among consumers and businesses to subscribe to their tech devices instead of buying them outright continues to accelerate. HP joins leading brands like Apple, LG and PlayStation already moving from one-off device sales to subscription models with Raylo, giving customers more flexibility while helping brands build stronger relationships and create recurring revenue.
Initially launching for UK small businesses, the collaboration between HP and Raylo is designed to help companies equip their teams with the technology they need to scale, without upfront hardware costs or depreciating assets on their balance sheets. This gives businesses greater flexibility to invest in growth while preserving cash flow.
“We’re proud that HP has chosen Raylo to power its first subscription offering for small businesses,” says Karl Gilbert, CEO and Co-Founder of Raylo. “More and more, people want flexible access to premium technology rather than a one-off purchase, and leading brands are moving with them. HP’s launch of subscriptions with Raylo marks a major step in that shift, and it means small businesses can now access the tech they need on terms that actually fit with how they work.”
Raylo enables electronics brands like HP to launch and scale fully branded subscription programmes. Its subscription platform powers the entire financial, operational and customer lifecycle – from credit underwriting and fulfilment through to device returns, refurbishment and reuse.
“Small businesses need technology that can keep pace with their ambitions, but how they access that technology needs to work for them too.” says Ruth Patterson, Managing Director HP United Kingdom and Ireland. “By working with Raylo, we’re giving UK small businesses greater choice and flexibility in how they access HP technology, without the need for a significant upfront investment. It’s another way we can make it easier for growing businesses to get the tools they need, when they need them.”
Small businesses can now subscribe to select HP devices for a rolling or fixed monthly term. At the end of the subscription or when the devices are no longer needed, they are returned, refurbished and redeployed by Raylo to another customer – helping extend the life of devices and keeping hardware out of landfill and in circulation for longer.
